With over 25 years’ experience in cybercrime investigations, Chris began his career with the City of London Police. As a Detective Constable in the crime scene investigation unit, he was responsible for building the computer crime unit and providing specialist digital forensic support to investigations.

As a cyber security and cyber risk expert, Chris spends his time partnering with clients to:

  • Prevent cyber attacks through cyber due diligence reviews, penetration testing, preparation of policy and procedure documentation, education and training designed to raise cyber security awareness;
  • Detect cyber attacks and breaches by recognising the changes that happen in your IT systems when these have been breached and responding early to avoid a full attack; and
  • Respond when a cyber incident happens to minimise the impact and secure your data.

Experience

Chris’s experience includes:

  • Providing ongoing cyber risk oversight to the liquidators of one of the world’s largest and most complex cryptocurrency exchange collapses following a cyber attack; and

He has experience working in the financial, legal, energy, education and healthcare industries, and has worked in the Australia, the UK, Papua New Guinea and across Asia.
